The commander of the Israeli armored corps said today, Monday, that the armored forces and other ground troops are close to completing their military mission in the northern Gaza Strip, and they are operating in other parts of the territory targeting Hamas. Brigadier Hisham Ibrahim told Israeli Army Radio, "The objectives in the northern area have almost been achieved. We have begun to expand ground movements to include other parts of the sector with one goal: to topple the terrorist Hamas movement."
