Colonna Starts Tour in Beirut

Today, Monday, Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri meets with French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna in Ain el-Tineh. Colonna left without making any statements. She arrived this afternoon at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, where she is also scheduled to meet with caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Army Commander General Joseph Aoun. Colonna will also visit the international peacekeeping forces "UNIFIL" in Naqoura to inspect the French troops, which constitute the largest battalion there, comprised of 700 soldiers.
