Saudi Defense Minister and His British Counterpart Discuss Strengthening Military Cooperation

British Defense Minister Grant Shapps welcomed Prince Khalid bin Salman, Saudi Defense Minister, at Lancaster House in London as part of his official visit to Britain. The Saudi and British defense ministers held an extensive bilateral meeting attended by delegations from both ministries. During the meeting, they reviewed the strategic partnership between the two countries, discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, and explored ways to strengthen collaboration in military and defense fields to meet the aspirations of both nations in serving their common interests. Both sides also examined coordination efforts to support security and stability in the region and globally, in addition to discussing several matters of mutual interest.
