Egyptian Sources: Extension of the Ceasefire in Gaza Possible for Two More Days

Two Egyptian security sources indicated today, Wednesday, that "negotiators seeking to extend the ongoing six-day ceasefire in Gaza believe it may be possible to extend it for two more days." They stated, "The number of civilian hostages held by the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), who will be released during the extension, is still being prepared." The sources also noted that "negotiations for the release of more civilian hostages are progressing well, but the issue of military hostages held by Hamas remains a hurdle."
