Shooting at Homes and Shops in Khalde: Army Arrests Suspect

The Army Command announced the arrest of a citizen (A.M.) in the Khalde - Hay Al-Arab area. He has been previously arrested multiple times, most recently during the events in Khalde, and was recently released from Roumieh Prison. He was apprehended for firing a weapon in the area on December 31, 2023, injuring several homes and shops, in addition to shooting with others at the office of a local mayor in the city of Choueifat. An investigation has begun with the detainee under the supervision of the relevant judiciary, and efforts are underway to arrest the other involved parties.
