A judge in New York has imposed a $10,000 fine on former U.S. President Donald Trump for violating a gag order for the second time in less than a week. Judge Arthur Engoron stated that Trump attacked his chief writer again, while Trump claimed he was actually targeting his adversary Michael Cohen, who is testifying against him in a fraud case regarding the management of Trump's organization’s real estate assets. The ruling stated, "The witness (Donald Trump) lacked credibility," leading to the fine of $10,000. Engoron had previously ordered all trial participants not to comment publicly on his staff starting October 3, following a social media post by Trump that insulted the judge's chief legal writer. Last week, the judge also imposed an initial fine of $5,000 on Trump for a post deemed insulting to a court employee.
