White House: Biden and Sunak Discuss the Middle East and Ukraine

White House spokesperson John Kirby announced that U.S. President Joe Biden discussed with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday the developments in the Red Sea, Gaza, and Ukraine. Kirby added to reporters in Washington, "They talked about what is happening in the Red Sea and the need for a continuous international multilateral approach to disrupt and weaken the capabilities of the Houthis." He mentioned that Biden and Sunak also discussed the necessity of reducing civilian casualties and increasing the flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza, as well as the urgent need for additional funding and support for Ukraine.
