Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan conducted a phone call today, Tuesday, with Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg. During the call, the two ministers discussed "the serious escalation of Israeli occupation forces in Gaza and its surroundings, and the role of the international community in fulfilling its responsibilities to stop the military escalation, which contributes to preserving the blood of innocent civilians, as well as the necessity of finding a fair and comprehensive solution that meets the aspirations of the Palestinian people." The ministers also reviewed the relations between the Kingdom and Austria and ways to support and enhance them in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples, in addition to exchanging views on several regional and international issues.
