Hamas Calls on the World for "Immediate Action" to Stop Aggression in Gaza

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has called on the world for "immediate action" to stop the intensified Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip. The Palestinian movement stated in a press release: "We demand that Arab and Islamic countries and the international community assume their responsibility and take immediate action to stop the crimes and the series of massacres against our people." It added that "the cutting of communications and internet to the Gaza Strip and the escalation of bombardment, on land, at sea, and in the air, on residential neighborhoods, warns of the occupation's intention to commit further massacres and acts of genocide away from the eyes of the press and the world." The movement held "the occupation, Washington, and the Western capitals that supported it fully responsible for the series of horrific massacres and their repercussions."
