Israeli Police Run Over Palestinian Girl

Israeli emergency services announced that police killed a Palestinian girl in a vehicle at a checkpoint in the West Bank when they opened fire on another car suspected of attempting a vehicular attack. The border police stated that they shot the girl after firing on a couple in a vehicle that they claimed had run over two Israelis at a checkpoint in the occupied West Bank on the outskirts of Jerusalem. They added that the police "neutralized" the couple in the car without providing further details. Palestinian sources told the Wafa agency that the couple was killed as a result of the gunfire.
