Stars Saber Rebai, Majid Al Mohandis, Angham, Assala Nasri, and Nancy Ajram shone at the "Blawegh Hamdi's Masterpieces" night last evening (Thursday) on the stage of "Abdulkerim Salem" in "Boulevard Riyadh City." They were unexpectedly joined by Mai Farouk and the rising Saudi talent Walid Mohammed. Egyptian artist Angham performed "Al Hob El Li Kan" and "Law Aabaltak Min Zaman" accompanied by the renowned Egyptian pianist Ramzi Yasa. Angham remarked about the late Bleg Hamdi: "He shaped the conscience of all artists in the Arab world, and his works are pivotal in music history."
Egyptian artist Mai Farouk presented the song "Alf Leila Wa Leila," while the emerging artist Walid Mohammed sang "Sewah." Syrian artist Assala Nasri took the stage barefoot to perform "Zay Al Asal" and "Zay Al Hawa," while Tunisian artist Saber Rebai sang "Mawood" and "Fat Al Miad."
Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram concluded the concert with the song "Al Ayoun Al Sowd," saying, "When we talk about love and feelings, we talk about Bleg Hamdi. I dreamed, loved, and wished to live in his time, even for one night. Tonight in Riyadh, we live the dream of 'Night of Bleg Hamdi,' and this dream was realized thanks to the efforts of the Entertainment Authority and the supervision of His Excellency Turki Al Sheikh."
