Biden: The Yemeni Houthi Group is a Terrorist Organization

US President Joe Biden described the forces of the Yemeni Houthi group as a terrorist organization today, Friday, after American and British warplanes, ships, and submarines launched dozens of airstrikes on targets throughout Yemen during the night. Biden stated that Washington would respond to the Houthis if they continued their behavior, which he called provocative. London and Washington assert that their airstrikes in Yemen, which is mostly controlled by the Houthis, were in response to attacks by the group on ships in the Red Sea for months, which fighters allied with Iran claim are a response to the ongoing war in Gaza.
