Bouhabib: Launching a Constructive Dialogue to Address Displacement Issues

The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bouhabib, confirmed in a statement that he agreed with his Portuguese counterpart, João Carvinho, during their meeting this evening on several issues, the most important of which are: "There is no military solution in Gaza, and the time is right to push international dynamics towards diplomatic efforts to find a sustainable solution to the Palestinian issue." He also emphasized that "the humanitarian truce must continue and be extended, and the Qatari role is important and necessary. We must launch a constructive dialogue to address the issue of displacement and to approach the humanitarian and economic situation in Syria."
