The Beirut Fire Brigade announced that on December 31, 2023, in celebration of New Year's Eve, it will conduct an operational deployment in the capital with the support of the Beirut Guard Brigade to ensure the safety of revelers. The deployment points will be: Burj Al Ghazal - Sodeco - Forum de Beirut - Ain El Mreisseh Intersection - Sassine Square. The security mission in the capital will start from the Fire Brigade's Command Center in Karantina at 4:00 PM and will continue until the early hours of the morning. They reminded everyone of the emergency number 175.
