The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, expressed his concern today, Tuesday, regarding the attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza after several days of siege. He stated that the facility must be protected. He wrote on the social media platform X: "Extremely concerned about the reports of the raid on Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza after its siege for a few days." He added: "The World Health Organization urgently calls for the protection of all those in the hospital, as well as an immediate ceasefire and sustainable access to humanitarian assistance for health facilities throughout the Gaza Strip."
