The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces mourned their martyr, "Raqib Ali Muhammad Nimer Mahdi," who was martyred on 11/02/2024, as a result of Israeli shelling that targeted his hometown "Hula" in the south. Martyr Ali Muhammad Mahdi was born on 03/08/1996 in Hula, single, and joined the force on 16/05/2016 as a trainee police officer. He was promoted to police officer rank on 09/09/2016, to corporal on 31/12/2020, and to sergeant after his martyrdom. He served in the Rapid Intervention Regiment of the Mobile Forces Unit, in the Drug Abuse Combat Office in the south, and in the Counter-Terrorism and Major Crimes Office in the south in the Judicial Police Unit. He was awarded:
- The Wounded Medal.
- The Lebanese Merit Medal, Fourth Class.
- The Internal Security Medal.
- The Merit Medal.
- The Military Medal.
- Commendation from the Commander of Mobile Forces, three times.
