The media office of the UAE government announced on the social media platform "X" today, Tuesday, that the UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a federal law decree to establish the UAE Accounting Authority. The office added that the new entity will serve as the highest body for financial oversight and accounting in the country.
