South Korea Suspends Part of 2018 Agreement with North Korea After Satellite Launch

According to the South Korean National Security Council, as reported by the Yonhap news agency on Tuesday, Seoul will suspend part of the agreement made with Pyongyang in 2018 aimed at reducing tensions between the two countries after North Korea announced the launch of its first spy satellite. The agency stated that this move will resume reconnaissance and surveillance operations against North Korea in the area surrounding the Military Demarcation Line.
