Air Alert Announced in 5 Ukrainian Regions

Ukrainian authorities announced an air alert in 5 regions according to the electronic air alarm map, warning of potential Russian air strikes, according to the "Novosti" agency. The alert was declared in the regions of Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, and Kyiv from 5:37 to 6:53 AM local time. Russian forces began shelling Ukrainian infrastructure sites on October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimea Bridge, targeting energy sites, defense industries, military command, and communications across all of Ukraine.
