Demonstration in Front of the French Embassy in Lebanon Demands Expulsion of the Ambassador - Video

A number of people demonstrated in front of the French embassy in Beirut today, Tuesday, in protest against French President Emmanuel Macron's statements regarding the war in Gaza. The protest is organized by some Lebanese parties and Palestinian factions "to condemn the disgraceful statements and positions of President Macron, to affirm the right of resistance to liberate its land and defend its people, to denounce the American position, and to honor the noble blood of our wronged people in Gaza." The protesters carried party and Palestinian flags, affirming "the right of resistance to liberate its land and defend its people."

The demonstrators condemned "the positions of both France and America in support of Israel in its war on Gaza" and demanded the expulsion of the French ambassador to Lebanon. Recently, President Macron suggested during his visit to Israel forming an international coalition against Hamas, accusing it of being a “terrorist” movement and announced his country’s support for Israel in its war on Gaza.
