Russian Sergey Agadzhanyan, the world record holder for heavy equipment pulling and strength feats, known as "The Russian Hulk," achieved a new world record today, Friday. Agadzhanyan carried weights of up to 210 kg on his shoulders for nearly a minute while inflating medical heating pads until they burst, according to his colleague, the current Russian and world record holder, the strongest man in Russia for 2022, David Shami, who spoke to the "Novosti" agency. Shami stated, "The load can truly be compared to ancient Greek legends, when the great giant carried the heavens on his shoulders, and at the same time, due to the immense weight, the athlete's diaphragm was literally pressed down, preventing him from breathing normally, and the extra weight came from him inflating the medical heating pads to the point of explosion." He noted that "the idea for the record was developed by Mikhail Balar, the head of the international movement 'Strongest Nation in the World'." The record was set at the "Triumph" sports palace in Lyubertsy, near the Russian capital, Moscow.
