Turkey Destroys 15 PKK Targets in Northern Iraq

The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 15 targets belonging to the "Kurdistan Workers' Party" (PKK) and the neutralization of several party leaders in northern Iraq. The ministry stated that Turkish forces conducted air operations against targets in the Metina, Gara, Hakurk, Qandil, and Asos regions of northern Iraq. It was reported that the 15 destroyed targets included caves, bunkers, shelters, and warehouses used by the organization, which contained "leading terrorists." Additionally, it was revealed that many targets were neutralized using as much locally made ammunition as possible during the operations. The ministry confirmed that all necessary measures were taken to prevent harm to civilians, friendly forces, and historical, cultural, and environmental assets during the operations.
