Loyalty to the Resistance Affirms National Consensus to Resolve Vacancy Crisis

The Loyalty to the Resistance bloc reiterated that national understanding among Lebanese is the essential means to achieve the presidential election. The bloc indicated after its weekly meeting that "this required understanding can only be reached if the parties set aside their preconditions and engage in dialogue with one another to narrow differences, ultimately reaching a shared conviction regarding the appropriate choice that aligns with their visions and interests." The statement added, "The role that some friends of the Lebanese can play, whether regional or international, is indeed a supportive one, which we view positively, especially when it reflects a clear concern for the common interests with Lebanon that must be understood and shared by the Lebanese to achieve and develop." Regarding the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, the bloc's statement said, "Palestine is currently witnessing an escalating Zionist aggression targeting the West Bank and its camps, threatening the stability of the entire region, while courageous resistance fighters confront this with a bold combat spirit and creative and effective performance that has imposed new and troubling field equations on the Zionist entity."
