Title: Ban on Selling

Ibrahim Yumaklı, the Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, announced a new decision to prohibit the distribution of products resembling lemon juice in the domestic market. This announcement was made during a meeting of the National Food Standards Committee held at the General Directorate of Forestry. Yumaklı stated that the Turkish government is taking decisive steps in the food sector, following significant changes in agriculture in the country. He mentioned that the distribution of products that give the impression of being lemon juice will soon be banned in the local market.

Yumaklı added that this measure is part of comprehensive food reforms that started last year, pointing to a similar ban that had been imposed on products resembling pomegranate molasses and pomegranate-flavored juices. The minister explained that these steps aim to protect consumers and ensure food quality in Turkish markets, emphasizing the importance of transparency and clarity in food product labeling.
