Palestinian President: The U.S. Must Intervene to Stop Israeli Attacks

The official Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that "President Mahmoud Abbas informed U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan today, Friday, that the Israeli attack on the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza, must stop." The agency stated that "Abbas emphasized to Sullivan during their meeting in Ramallah the necessity of U.S. intervention... to compel Israel to halt its aggression against our people in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, which is manifested in invasions of Palestinian cities and camps, killing of civilians, destruction of infrastructure, and attacks on Islamic and Christian holy sites, as well as ethnic cleansing crimes."
