The Akkar Regional Directorate at the Ministry of Environment has been following up on the presence of oil substances in the southern Great River and its banks in the outskirts of the town of Masoudiyeh in Akkar. The Ministry of Environment's team is coordinating with the Ministry of Energy and Water and the Akkar Governorate to identify the sources of the leak and ways to address it.
