Iran: US and British Attacks Against Houthis Violate Yemen's Sovereignty

Iran condemned today, Friday, the US and British attack on the Houthis in Yemen, warning that it would exacerbate "insecurity and instability" in the region. The Iranian news site Nour News reported that Nasser Kanaani, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, stated in a press release today that Iran strongly condemns the US and British attack on the Houthis in Yemen. Kanaani said: "We strongly condemn the military attacks carried out by the United States and the United Kingdom this morning on several cities in Yemen." He added: "We consider this a clear violation of Yemen's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a breach of international laws, regulations, and rights."
