South Korean Tourist Killed in Armed Attack in Guam

The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Friday, that "a South Korean tourist was killed in an armed attack in the U.S. island of Guam in the Pacific." In a statement released by the ministry, it was mentioned that "the victim was shot by an armed robber last Thursday and was taken to the hospital but died." For its part, the Korean consulate in Guam stated: "It has sent a consular official to the hospital immediately after the incident to provide assistance." Guam is a popular tourist destination among Koreans.
