U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Tuesday that Arab countries are not eager to participate in the reconstruction of Gaza if the Palestinian territory is to be "leveled again" in a few years. He emphasized the need to address the issue of establishing a Palestinian state. Blinken mentioned during an interview with CNBC in Davos, "You have to resolve the Palestinian issue." He added, "Arab countries say this: they say, look, we will not get involved in matters, such as rebuilding Gaza if it is going to be leveled again in a year or five years and then we are asked to rebuild it once more."
