Barcelona Faces Supply Chain Delays Due to Red Sea Crisis

The president of the Port of Barcelona reported to journalists today, Monday, that the arrival of ships is delayed by a period of ten to 15 days at the Spanish port due to the necessity of rerouting around Africa to avoid potential attacks in the Red Sea. He added that this delay affects vessels carrying all types of goods and shipments, including liquefied natural gas. Barcelona is one of the largest ports in Spain with terminals that handle liquefied natural gas shipments.
