Presidency... Between Frangieh and Jumblatt on Monday

The presidential file remains at the forefront of interests, and it was reported that the Speaker of the Parliament, Nabih Berri, requested the new Qatari ambassador to advance the file, stating, "Some here in Lebanon are not pleased with what we propose domestically and prefer external suggestions," according to "Al-Liwaa." The presidential topic will be on the table during the visit of presidential candidate and former Minister Sleiman Frangieh to Clemenceau next Monday, in response to a dinner invitation from former MP Walid Jumblatt. This marks the second such communication at this level following the visit of MP Taymour Jumblatt to Bnachii, where he met Frangieh.
