A document released today, Friday, indicates that members of the World Trade Organization (WTO) have agreed to extend the suspension of tariffs on e-commerce for another two years during a high-level meeting. The document published on the WTO's website states, "We agree to maintain the current practice of not imposing tariffs on e-commerce transactions until the fourteenth session of the ministerial conference. The suspension and work program will end on that date." Ministerial conferences are held every two years.
