Following careful monitoring and observation by the General Directorate of State Security to combat fraud and scam operations, the Tripoli office of the Northern Regional Directorate arrested the Syrian (M.H.), who created a fake website for a company selling equipment for metal and gold detection.
In detail, the arrested individual targeted people of various Arab nationalities who purchased the equipment online and sent payment through money transfer companies. After receiving the money, the arrested individual would cut off his line and then repeat his crime using another phone number. An investigation was conducted with him, and he was handed over to the relevant authorities based on judicial directives.
