The U.S. Central Command stated today, Saturday, that U.S. forces engaged and shot down several drones over the Red Sea yesterday, Friday, and destroyed four drones that Houthi forces were preparing to launch from Yemen. In a statement, U.S. Central Command indicated that "U.S. forces identified the drones in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen and determined that they posed an imminent threat to commercial vessels and U.S. naval ships in the region."
