Decline in Turkey's Central Bank Net International Reserves

The net international reserves of the Turkish central bank decreased by more than five billion dollars in the week ending December 29, reaching 34.95 billion dollars. Reserves began to increase since early June, following the presidential elections, when they fell to negative 5.7 billion dollars, marking the lowest level since data publication began in 2002. Data showed that the total international reserves at the bank declined by approximately 4.7 billion dollars in the same week.
