The Russian mercenary group "Wagner" has been registered in Belarus as an educational organization, according to information published in the Belarusian unified state register of legal entities and entrepreneurs. According to the register, the legal entity named the "Wagner Group" was registered on August 3 of this year by the executive committee in the village of Tsil, in the Osipovichi district of the Mogilev region in Belarus. The register states that the only activity declared by the "Wagner Group" is educational activities. In July, reports indicated that Wagner mercenaries had established a camp on the grounds of a base near the town of Osipovichi. The Belarusian Ministry of Defense also published several videos showing how Wagner mercenaries train their forces. Around the same time, Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin recorded a video message claiming that the group's fighters had arrived "on Belarusian territory."
