Palestine Liberation Organization: Stopping UNRWA Funding Poses Significant Political and Humanitarian Risks

The Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein Sheikh, indicated in a post on the X platform today, Saturday, that "the decision by some countries to stop their funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) poses significant political and humanitarian risks." He added, "We demand that the countries that announced the cessation of their support for UNRWA immediately reverse their decision."
