UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres noted on Monday that an independent review group led by former French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna will conduct an assessment of the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), following accusations from Israel that some agency staff members were involved in the October 7 attacks launched by Hamas.
