The Emirati artist Ahlam Alshamsi broke her silence, denying through her Snapchat account the engagement of her eldest son, Fahd Al-Hajri, in response to a follower who congratulated her on his supposed relationship. Ahlam confirmed that her son is still too young for such steps, as he is only 17 years old, emphasizing that this idea is currently out of the question and impossible. She pointed out that her son is fully focused on his studies, asking the audience to pray for his goodness and success and to finish his university studies before thinking about marriage. Ahlam Alshamsi married Qatari race car driver Mubarak Al-Hajri on June 18, 2003, and they have three children: Fahd, who was born in 2004, Fatima, who was born in 2008, and Luluwa, born in 2010.
