Nazek Hariri to Martyr President: We Are Living Difficult and Harrowing Days After Your Departure

On the occasion of the nineteenth anniversary of the martyrdom of President Rafik Hariri, Nazek Rafik Hariri expressed her admiration, longing, and nostalgia for his pure spirit after years filled with sorrow and despair. She renewed her pledge of loyalty during these difficult times, stating: "We are living difficult and harrowing days after your departure, and we need you now more than ever. A man of challenges in an era of great challenges, a man of state, vision, and principles who was able to save his country from war and destruction and lead his people in the journey of recovery and reconstruction." She noted that "the challenges around us are tough, the differences and disputes are escalating, and we have all drowned in endless political wranglings. The language of weapons is not ours, nor is the logic of the victor and the vanquished. The only victor is our beloved country, Lebanon."
