Surveillance cameras captured the moment one of the rides fell at the Dream Park amusement park in Wasit Province, Iraq. A video showed passengers falling from the ride, flying through the air before crashing to the ground, while families rushed to assist the injured and transport them to the hospital.
In this regard, the Wasit Health Directorate reported that the number of injured due to the collapse of the "carousel" ride at the Dream Park in the Al-Falahiah area reached 15, most of whom were children, with some in critical condition. Meanwhile, the Governor of Wasit has ordered the closure of the amusement park in Al-Falahiah and the formation of a specialized committee to investigate the incident.
