Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva expressed today, Friday, his country's openness to investments from other nations to stimulate growth, while unveiling a new plan to "accelerate growth" with investments estimated at around $350 billion. Lula stated in a speech that he will ask his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping and U.S. President Joe Biden to increase investments in Brazil, noting that European countries are also keen to invest in Latin America. He continued, "We must travel around the world to showcase our projects and try to market them," adding that he will tell his counterparts, such as Biden, Xi, and Arab leaders, "We want more investments in Brazil."
