Klass Receives Ambassador of Qatar in Farewell Visit

Minister of Youth and Sports George Klass received the Ambassador of Qatar to Lebanon, Ibrahim Al-Sahlawi, in a farewell visit at his office, attended by the Acting Director General of Facilities and Head of the Sports Department at the ministry, Mohammad Ouwaidat, Head of the Public Relations Division, Hassan Sharara, and the Minister's Office Director, Hussein Omar. Klass welcomed the Qatari ambassador, valuing the brotherly relationship between the two countries, stating, "Yesterday we said thank you Qatar, and today we extend through you a greeting of love to the Government, people, and youth of Qatar, affirming the complementary relationship between our two countries. We thank you for hosting the Lebanese community and its youth, who feel that they are serving two brotherly nations." Klass added, "The positive echoes of the World Cup in Qatar still resonate in the hearts of all Arabs; it has been an Arab achievement for humanity. You have our respect in Lebanon, and we thank you for your refined diplomacy in serving Arab communities."
