The Criminal Chamber of the Court of Appeal in southeastern Morocco has issued its rulings in a sexual extortion case involving a network composed of five individuals, including two women, in the city of Ouarzazate. The judicial police of the royal gendarmerie in the regional command of Ouarzazate managed to dismantle a criminal network consisting of five people involved in sexual extortion by luring victims to a massage parlor, following instructions from the public prosecutor after a complaint was filed by an individual.
The five accused have been charged with establishing a brothel, theft under aggravated circumstances, violence, threats, and the use of a weapon during the commission of the crimes, as well as intentionally capturing and recording a video of the victim without consent. It is noted that local authorities in Ouarzazate, under the direction of regional authorities, have begun an inspection of the massage parlors in the city to ensure they possess all the required licenses to conduct such activities.
