The Swedish news agency "TT" reported today, Tuesday, that "Stockholm will suspend funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), after several other countries suspended funding due to allegations of some of its staff's involvement in Hamas's attack on Israel on October 7." The agency quoted Sweden's Minister for Cooperation, International Development, and Foreign Trade, Johan Forssell: "The money... will instead be directed to other humanitarian organizations."
