Following the altercation that occurred in the town of Al-Kahale due to a truck loaded with weapons overturning, the media relations department of Hezbollah issued the following statement: "While Hezbollah's truck was coming from the Bekaa to Beirut, it overturned in the Al-Kahale area. As the concerned individuals were making calls for assistance to lift it from the road and continue its journey, a number of armed militia members from the area gathered and attacked the truck's personnel in an attempt to control it, initially throwing stones and then opening fire. This led to the injury of one of the individuals tasked with protecting the truck, who was transported in critical condition to the hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. A gunfire exchange occurred with the attacking militants, during which a Lebanese Army unit intervened and prevented these armed individuals from approaching or taking control of the truck. Communications are still ongoing to resolve the current issue."
