OPEC+ Sets Date for Monitoring Committee Meeting

A source told Reuters today, Wednesday, that the OPEC+ alliance will hold a meeting of the Joint Ministerial Monitoring Committee on February 1. The meeting will take place via video conference. Typically, the alliance, which includes the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and allies such as Russia, holds such meetings every two months to monitor the implementation of its production agreements.
