The Iraqi Ministry of Interior confirmed today, Wednesday, that "the phenomenon of low-quality content has begun to diminish, while specifying the reasons." In a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Colonel Hamid al-Lami, head of the media department at the Baghdad/Rusafa police command, stated that "efforts are ongoing to limit the phenomenon of low-quality content on social media, with periodic arrests of some content creators who publish videos that are inappropriate for the general taste of Iraqi society." He added, "The number of those arrested is not fixed and varies; some face sentencing while others remain in detention," emphasizing that "the phenomenon of low-quality content has begun to diminish due to the continued arrests, follow-ups, and legal penalties."
