Death of Former Saudi National Team Star Shaia Al-Nafisa

The Saudi sports community was shocked today, Sunday, by the death of former Saudi national team star and Al-Kawkab football club player, Shaia Al-Nafisa, at the age of 61, after a battle with a severe illness. The "Roshan Saudi" football league expressed its condolences, stating on its Twitter account: "The Saudi Professional League extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of former international player Shaia Al-Nafisa, who passed away today. We ask Almighty God to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy and grant his family patience and solace."
