Army Commander Receives Delegation from Mayors of Jezzine District

Army Commander General Joseph Aoun welcomed a delegation of mayors from the Jezzine district at the Army Command headquarters in Yarzeh, headed by the Vice President of the Jezzine Municipal Union and Mayor of Labbaneh Fadi Romanous. The delegation included mayors from Aaychiah, Aazor, Rimat, Batedin al-Lqash, Haytoura, Sabah, Mashmoushi, Wadi Jezzine, Sidon, Safarieh, Saniyah, Zahli, Shawaliq, Bnawati, Ain el-Mir, Qetouli, Majidil, Kfarhouna, and Jarmak, along with the Vice Mayor of Jezzine, Samer Aoun. The delegation congratulated General Aoun on the occasion of the Christmas and New Year holidays and on his extension at the helm of the military institution steadfast against all challenges, ensuring the unity of the Lebanese people and preserving security and stability. Additionally, the delegation presented the Army Commander with a dagger crafted in Jezzine as a token of love, loyalty, and appreciation.
